its been a while...

It's nearly the middle of October and I haven't blogged in nearly 2 months. Guess I need to find another list of things to blog about.

Lots of things going on around here.

Erin got a job. She's working at the Macy's Bloomingdale's distribution center. Pretty cool job. She gets to pick things for online orders before someone else boxes them and ships it. She's only worked 2 days and had 1 day orientation, but she's happy she's working. I just think it's a little lonelier during the day now.

I've been having lots of doctors appointments and testing done. My lungs (maybe heart) aren't doing so hot right now, but we're still testing so we don't know what's going on right now. We should find out a little bit more of what is going on next week, and most likely be doing a heart catheter within the next few weeks to get the real pressures in my heart, rather than relying on a echo.

I figured out what to do about Christmas presents this year, and i shouldn't have to buy anything, much. I know that I need fabric stiffener for one of the projects, but that's about it.

The puppy is now 4 months old. We've had her forever! She's beautiful as always. Still having issues with her, but it's mainly cause she's one very stubborn puppy. Never get a German female dog.!

Ian turns 11 tomorrow. Guess I should post about that, tomorrow. I can't believe he's 11 already. He's such a good boy. It makes me cry thinking about how much of a young man he is. I love him very much.

Emalee's baby will be here on the 25th. Now when I say here I mean on this earth. I don't know when I'll see her in person.

I'm not going to Utah for Thanksgiving. Because of the issues I've been having my doctor doesn't think it is a good thing right now for me to be traveling in the cold. Erin and I will be alone in Buckeye for Thanksgiving. I'm fine with it, other than the fact that I would really like to see my grandmother again, and my new baby niece.

New Hobby...

For quite a while I've been wanting to get into Jewelry making...

So today I decided to treat myself and get some beads, and other stuff to start making some jewelry.

I'm so excited about this. This will add something else to my list of things I'm able to do for gifts this Christmas.

Photo Booth...

So I got up Wednesday morning and found Missy Miss on my computer. This is not an uncommon thing to find when any of the kids get up before I do.

This morning however I found something new, 28 photos in Photo Booth.

I thought I would post a few to show how creative she is.

Fun with foam...

I ended up having both girls spending the night last night. The parents stopped by to show off the new car with Missy Miss, and she asked if she could stay. So she stayed.

This morning Gramee and Grumpy were on their way to Ogden, so it was just the girls and I.

They let me sleep in and fed themselves and had fun on the computer and such while I slept. I love that they are older now and take care of themselves so I can sleep. *grins*

After I got up we decided to have some fun with the foam letters / animal stickers and such and make Kaleb (their cousin who turn's 1 tomorrow) some birthday cards.

As you can see from the above picture Missy had fun with the new fish and they both made "sun" glasses.

I love having fun with foam.

My Sister Suzie

June 10, 2011 - Sister Suzie and Me

Today starts the first day of Summer and Sister Suzie is spending the day / night / day with me.

Missy Miss has a play date with her friends at the movies. They are seeing Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer. These series of books will most likely be making it into their library next month.

The Boy is over at his Aunt Donna's playing with his cousins and spending the night. I heard all about the ice cream sundays that will be happening there tonight.

So Sis is with me. We don't plan on doing anything. Just sitting here at home, playing on the computer / iPad, watching soap operas and other television, and then watching movies tonight, maybe even some ice cream. Tomorrow is another one of those nothing days. Just the two of us doing what we do best.

IT'S A GIRL!

Sooo excited! My sister is having a little girl. I know we already have 2 girls with sister suzie and missy... but another girl! Poor Ian... the only boy...

I'm wishing for the Name Cleo to be somewhere in her name!

I'm Back!

Okie Dokie... I'm back!

Had a few technical difficulties the past few days.

Lyle (my macbook) got sick and wouldn't start. Ended up needing a new hard drive.

Now I have him back, but I have NOTHING on my computer. I was a dork and was in the process of backing up my media file, but didn't get my documents or pictures backed up. So yeah. BIG noob here. I lost ALL my pictures. This includes all pictures that have been taken with my phone, or my camera. oh, and all the cute things the kids have taken on photobooth. I'm really sad about this one. I do have some things that i uploaded to facebook... so I am lucky there.

I'm not really upset about my documents, because there wasn't really anything there that I can't try to find again, however I lost my fanfiction file. This is a file that had over two gig worth of fan fic from many different fandoms that I have collected for the last 6 or 7 years, and I KNOW that many of the stories I had in there are no longer available on the internet. I'm hoping to be able to find some of it in my delicious files... but I'm sure most of it is gone. I'm really depressed about this.

I have lost a few days now for NaBloPoMo, but I'm going to try to pick things back up. Who knows what I'll be blogging about, but I'm sure it will be fun.

Candy...

I am a fan of candy... I love candy. I love all types of candy... I'm not big on chocolate, but candy is sooooo yummy!!!

DUH!.... Kevin Spacey

Isn't he pretty...

I love Kevin Spacey. I'm such a fangirl when it comes to him. I just go all *squishy* when I hear about him on TV or see something new in a magazine or online.

I have loved him forever... or at least it seems like it has been forever. I first saw him on the 1996 Oscars when he won for "The Usual Suspects". I rented that movie and it just spiraled from there.... one after another after another. I became addicted.

Doctor Who

This past Memorial weekend we spent a majority of the time having a Doctor Who Marathon. We started with Season 3 episode 10, Blink.

I've been trying to get past this episode for a while now. It scares me. Especially at night... and then for days afterwards I dream of statues coming to life. The show can kinda be freaky that way.

I'm such a fan of Doctor Who. I remember watching episodes of it when I was young and it played on PBS. When I was young Tom Baker (the fourth doctor) was my favorite.. I always loved his long scarf...  but since the re-boot in 2005 David Tennent (ten) has become my doctor. I just want to love him and squish him and hold him and make him all better, especially towards the end. I especially love the companions of the Tenth Doctor... How he falls in love with Rose... How Martha falls in love with him, and how funny and great he was with Doctor Donna... I do love Donna. She has to be one of my all time favorite Characters.

Now Matt Smith is the eleventh doctor after 4 years of Ten. I like Matt Smith, but Ten will always be MY DOCTOR.

Lego Harry Potter

I'm addicted... I've been playing Lego Harry Potter on my iPad for 2 days straight.

I'm loving it... My right wrist and shoulder are killing me... but I'm having so much fun.

Wednesday is the first of the new month. I'll be working on NaBloPoMo again this next month. I am going to try and do the theme for the month, which is FAN. But of course it's not something I have to stick with. Being such a fangirl of many things I think it might be an easy theme.

WHOOPS...

Looks like I missed a few days...

There goes my blogging streak. I went 73 days in a row.

That's nearly 1/3 of my entire blog posting history!

I'm going to take a few days off now, since I've already missed a few days.

DAY 12 - What you think about your friends

I love my friends. I think they are some of the best people in the world.

My very closest friends are actually one's that I've met on the internet. I know. Seems wild. We met years ago on a Kevin Spacey group. We made our own group and have been asking random questions ever since. We've even traveled together, and had many adventures, and met other people who we've brought in with us.

I love my girls.

There are also other's I've met along the way that have helped me out and been there and just been good friends. I do have many acquaintances, but I do have friends...

I love my friends.
