Day 17 - A picture of something that has made a huge impact on your life recently

I've been out of my sleeping medication for the last 3 months. It's my fault... I missed my doctor's appointment in January and the soonest they could get me in is next week. So, none of my meds got refilled in January. I've been able to get away with them calling in all my other meds, but he won't call in my ambien. It has TOTALLY screwed with my circadian rhythm. I just want my sleeping to be back in control. This going to bed at 4-5 am and waking up at 11 am -12 pm just is not working for me anymore.

This picture makes me laugh. This whole situation made me laugh. Ian had a crush, or something, on our cousin katy that day. This is the only reason I can think of for why he was watching her in secret all day.

Or it might have been the fact that she was sitting in "his" spot all day.

My most treasured item has to be my cookie monster. I've had him as long as I can remember. He's a little worn out, and broken. But he still makes me smile.

I don't think that there is a person I would trade places with. I like my life, even with the problems I have, I have a good life.

Lils however has a perfect life. She's the perfect pampered pooch. I'd like to trade places with her for a day and just be pampered like a dog.

I have many favorite memories. Especially last Summer in Florence Oregon. We went to my grandmother's house for a family reunion and was able to reunite with lots of cousins and aunts and uncles. It was a total blast. On one of these days my immediate family went to Smelt Sands, a beach north of Florence. There are all these tiny stones and we just spent the day playing in the dirt. It was a wonderful day...

My night last night was spent like every other night. Watching television, playing on the computer or iPad, and just being... The only addition to the night was the kids spent the night. They weren't here when I took this picture, and I forgot to take a picture of them here once they got back.

I'm a television junkie. I LOVE TV. I love being entertained. So, since I watch a lot of television I have a lot of favorites. So I decided to go with my current favorite: Glee.

I don't have many close friends who I've been friends with for years, and years. I am close to my brother and sister. I feel like I'm close to all my immediate family.

1- I'm an information/technology junkie. I like having all the new fun stuff.
2- I watch way too much television.
3- I've suffered from insomnia since I was 16. Right now my clock is totally off so i go to sleep around 4 am.
4- I have an unhealthy obsession with my dog. She's a little spoilt. Maybe not as much as she could be, but as much as I can get away with.
5- I live with my parents.
6- I like to read. I especially like to read fan fiction.
7- My nieces and nephew are the best things in my life. They make me happy.
8- I like sandwiches. Sandwiches are my favorite food. I LOVE a good sandwich...
9- I like to think that I'm smart. But I know that there are a lot of things out there I know NOTHING about.
10- I do nothing but read an watch soap opera's all day.
11- I'm addicted to Glee.
12- I like watching TMZ... they make me laugh.
13- I take my iPad with me everywhere I go.
14- I'm a candy addict. I've tried to get off sugar, but I only lasted 12 days.
15- I'd rather sit in a dark room than a room full of sunlight.

I'm not sure how I'm going to go about this whole idea I had. But here it is.

So today's character is one of my very favorite television characters. Josh Lyman...

Josh is a character from the television series 'The West Wing', created by Aaron Sorkin. Josh is one of the sharpest minds on the President's staff. He is witty, somewhat cocky, and has this boyish charm that many women fall in love with.

I'm not sure why I love this character so much. It could be his cockyness (i think I just made up that word), or his wit, or his boyish charm, or it could be actor Bradley Whitford's brown eyes and dimples. But he will always be one of my favorites.

Character's Welcome...

It has been a long time since I've done much writing. It's been a long time since I've done much of anything to tell the truth, but we're going to try this again. Maybe I'll actually get thru a month. That's a goal that I can work with.

February's NaBloPoMo is about Character. I don't usually follow their monthly theme's, but I thought that this might be fun.

Character has about 20 different definitions in the dictionary; there is the origin, the noun, adjective, and verb... Now when I hear the word character my mind goes directly to TV and those USA network Character's Welcome commercials. Now why am I bringing that up? I thought that I would write about my favorite "Character's".

We'll see how this plans out...

it's been a while..

I have no idea where the time went. I swear yesterday it was just July...

I'm going to try and get back into the swing of things here. Everything just kinda went wacko there on me for a while.
