A new year is about to start.
I can't remember the last New Years party I went to. Actually I've probably only been to half a dozen actual New Year's
My night will be quiet and consist of lots of food, movies, and spending time with whatever friends and family is around, as it usually does. Tonight it will be just me and my parents. We'll see if we even make it to midnight.
I was just talking to my friend about how we must be old because we don't think we'll make it to midnight. I actually go to bed around 1 am most nights because I have a weird work schedule, so I'll be awake, but I'll be doing my normal routine chores. Thinking about it though, I remember being little and struggling to stay awake 'til midnight, looking forward to being an adult and being able to stay up past midnight without any effort. Boy howdy, was I wrong! Hope you have a great New Year's Eve my Sarah Ann!
