Doctor Who

This past Memorial weekend we spent a majority of the time having a Doctor Who Marathon. We started with Season 3 episode 10, Blink.

I've been trying to get past this episode for a while now. It scares me. Especially at night... and then for days afterwards I dream of statues coming to life. The show can kinda be freaky that way.

I'm such a fan of Doctor Who. I remember watching episodes of it when I was young and it played on PBS. When I was young Tom Baker (the fourth doctor) was my favorite.. I always loved his long scarf...  but since the re-boot in 2005 David Tennent (ten) has become my doctor. I just want to love him and squish him and hold him and make him all better, especially towards the end. I especially love the companions of the Tenth Doctor... How he falls in love with Rose... How Martha falls in love with him, and how funny and great he was with Doctor Donna... I do love Donna. She has to be one of my all time favorite Characters.

Now Matt Smith is the eleventh doctor after 4 years of Ten. I like Matt Smith, but Ten will always be MY DOCTOR.

Lego Harry Potter

I'm addicted... I've been playing Lego Harry Potter on my iPad for 2 days straight.

I'm loving it... My right wrist and shoulder are killing me... but I'm having so much fun.

Wednesday is the first of the new month. I'll be working on NaBloPoMo again this next month. I am going to try and do the theme for the month, which is FAN. But of course it's not something I have to stick with. Being such a fangirl of many things I think it might be an easy theme.

WHOOPS...

Looks like I missed a few days...

There goes my blogging streak. I went 73 days in a row.

That's nearly 1/3 of my entire blog posting history!

I'm going to take a few days off now, since I've already missed a few days.

DAY 12 - What you think about your friends

I love my friends. I think they are some of the best people in the world.

My very closest friends are actually one's that I've met on the internet. I know. Seems wild. We met years ago on a Kevin Spacey group. We made our own group and have been asking random questions ever since. We've even traveled together, and had many adventures, and met other people who we've brought in with us.

I love my girls.

There are also other's I've met along the way that have helped me out and been there and just been good friends. I do have many acquaintances, but I do have friends...

I love my friends.

DAY 10 - Nicknames you have; why do you have them

I don't have many nicknames, unlike my nieces who seem to have like 20 a piece.

I was born with the nickname dude... Dad was calling me dude before I was even born. It's not one I get called very often anymore. But it will always be my favorite one.

Bobarah... This is a nickname that Jenn gave me. I don't even remember how it came about, but she still calls me bobarah. I love it.

Sarah Ann.... My Angela friend gave me this one. We've been friends for nearly 11 years now. She's the only one that calls me Sarah Ann. She always has, and hopefully she always will.

DAY 08 - A habit that you wish you didn’t have

I don't even notice that I do it. I'll be sitting watching television or reading, and I'll start braiding my hair one handed with my left hand. I know. it's weird, and most people are amazed to watch me do it. But yeah. I will braid little pieces of my hair with my left hand. and I don't realize I'm doing it most of the time.

DAY 07 - The meaning behind your Blog name

The meaning behind the name of my blog? 

It started out just being "random" because I am random. I like being random. And I had to put in Kevin Spacey in some way because I've never had an account for any type of thing that didn't have the word spacey in it. So HisGirlSpacey had to be the address. Then it became me just rambling on about anything and everything. Sometimes making more than one post a day about NOTHING. And then I started to show a little more about my little obsessions, and the fact that I'm a little obsessive compulsive about some things (mom says I'm anal). 

So there you go. It's just me Ramblings of the Obsessive Compulsive. Maybe one day I'll change the name of my blog. But for now it fits me.

DAY 06 - A recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself

1- I'm addicted to Slim Jim's... You know, the beef stick things that you get at any convenience store. I'll go some day's eating 2-3 of them a day... some weeks up to 14 a week. Some week's I won't have any. I'm addicted to Slim Jim's.


2- I watch soap opera's ever day. ABC soaps: All My Children, One Life to Live, and General Hospital. I love them. I've been watching these three soaps as long as I can remember. I'm really sad and heartbroken that two of them have been canceled. I guess I'll just not turn on the TV until 2.00 after the first of the year.


3- I also watch People's Court and Judge Judy (she makes me laugh)... I know. I'm just one of those people that sit around and watch daytime television. Regular television, not cable stuff.


4- I take my iPad with me everywhere I go. If I'm going to a restaurant, shopping, just a quick errand to the store, and if I'm taking my purse nine times out of ten my iPad is with me.


5- I love my kids. They really make me the happiest I could be. I love Thursday nights when their parents bring them over and all three sit in my chair with me. add the dog and we are a happy bunch. They really are the best.

6- I eat a lot of tomato's, green olives, cucumbers, dill pickles, and cheese... Some days this is all I eat. I also use a lot of vinegar and this mexican fruit seasoning called Tajin. LOVE the stuff.

7- I like to buy books for the kids. I buy them books all the time. These aren't books that are for birthdays or christmas or anything type of "present". They are just the next book in a series that they are reading, or something they might like to read. All 3 of them read so much. They just fly thru books, and I love that they love to read so much.

8- When I was younger I wanted to go to Culinary Arts school.

9- I used to own a truck. I bought it from my Grandpa and then eventually sold it to my dad. Yeah, he just seems to like to buy vehicles from me. He bought my jetta also.


10- I like to draw and paint. I am no good at it and haven't done it in a long time, but I love to do it. I've since given all my art supplies to 3 very creative and artsy children.


11- Most of my best friends are people I met on the internet. We've been friends for nearly 11 years.... We have even traveled together many times. I love my RQ girls.


12- I'm addicted to electronic gadgets. Especially new ones. I get jealous of anyone who has the new thing that I want.


13- I love the pop tarts commercials. I love how cute the little cartoon guys are. they are just adorable, and the jingles that go with them. I sing them all the time and mom gets irritated with me.


14- I wake up nearly every morning with some sort of pain. It's hard for me to get going in the morning, and some days I just want to stay in bed all day. 


15- I'm a water snob. I don't drink water out of the tap unless it has been filtered. And I won't drink just any bottled water. I prefer nestle if I drink the "cheap" stuff... and if money were no object I would drink Evian and Fiji all the time. I also love Metro Mint water. Fell in love with the stuff in Albuquerque. Fizzy water also makes me very happy.

So now you know my dirty little secrets.

DAY 04 - What I would find in your bag

Jeremy says that I'm a Boy Scout... cause I'm always prepared... 

There are still a few things left from Saturday's adventure to University of Phoenix Stadium.

But yeah... I have 3 types of gum in my bag. This is because I have 3 children around a lot that like different types of gum. Have to keep them happy.

I also have mints, my house keys, my wallet, alieve, my pain pills and compazine, a first aid kit, tissues, 3 different lip stuff, lotion, nail file, pens, antacids, sunglasses, true lemon/lime/orange, hand sanitizer, and a sucker... The magazine, notebook, and camera are not in there all the time. and the pink bag I put most of the small things in so they aren't just hanging out in the bottom of my bag.

Saturday my Dad graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Masters in Business Administration.

I don't want a funeral. I'm told by some that it is inevitable, but I don't want one.

I want to be cremated, and I want my ashes to be thrown into the Ocean off Point Perpetua on the coast of Oregon. I want my family to go there and spend some time, and have a party. I want a celebration.

However, if there was a funeral... I would love this song to be played.

I've always wanted to dance to this song at my wedding... With this man singing it.

Day 22 - A song that you listen to when you’re sad

I like to listen to country when I'm sad. I don't know what that's about.

I love Kenny Chesney. He's just yum and his voice makes me happy, and he sings a song with Dave Matthews. How could it get any better...

Barenaked Ladies make me happy. I love all their music, but when I hear this song I think of my babies... I don't know why.. maybe It's the chikety china, or the fact that all of them could sing it by the time they could talk.

I love listening to this song loud and over, and over again when I'm angry... Just makes me feel better to yell it out.

I like to listen to it other times as well. One of my favorite David Cook songs.
