Tuesday Tunes on Wednesday: Christmas Pipes

I woke up this morning thinking it was Tuesday... I swear that it was. But I was just told that it is in fact Wednesday. SO, all morning I've thinking of songs for this week's Tuesday Tunes, just to be told that it's Wednesday.

But since I've already decided on a song, and I need to really change my song cause it's been the same for weeks, I'll post Tuesday Tunes on Wednesday and Random Wednesday will be back next week.

One of my favorite Christmas songs is a new one I discovered last year.

I got the Celtic Woman Christmas CD for my Grandmother last year. Loved it so much I had to get it for myself. It has become one of my very favorites. I love listening to these women sing. Their voices blend so well together and they just make me happy.

Anyway... LOVE this song. Love the music, love the words, just love this song. I hope you enjoy it!

Christmas Pipes
Sung by Celtic Woman

Words and music by Brendan Graham

Christmas pipes, Christmas pipes
Calling us home on Christmas night

Call us from far, call us from near
Oh play me your Christmas pipes

Christmas bells, Christmas bells
Over the hills and over the dells
Ringing out bright, ringing out clear
Oh ring me your Christmas bells

Christmas strings, Christmas strings
Playing the peace that Christmas brings
Fiddle and bow, gentle and low
Oh play me your Christmas strings

Christmas choir, Christmas choir
Christmas carols 'round Christmas fire
Holy night, angels on high
Round up your Christmas choir

Christmas band, Christmas band
You're waiting for me with your Christmas band
Cymbal and drum, rattle and hum
March out your Christmas band

Christmas pipes, Christmas pipes
Calling us home on Christmas night
Call us from far, call us from near
Oh play me your Christmas pipes

Good to be home to your Christmas
Good to be home to your Christmas
Good to be home to your Christmas pipes

Hello December...

Hello December, On the warm and pleasing sunny day. Together with azure cloudless skies No coats to wear, or hats to bear just the Soothing warmth of the sun so high And when evening falls, a billion stars will Come out and blanket the vast desert sky.
